Anyone working in the animal adoption community knows that a great picture can mean the difference between life and death for an animals awaiting adoption. SMP’s images have boosted adoption rates in shelters throughout the United States (some as high as 100% for the animals photographed), facilitated adoptions of long-term shelter residents (one over five years with no visitors) and prevented dogs on death row from being euthanized (shelter staff could not destroy them after seeing their pictures).

Every $25 we raise allows us to photograph one animal. When that picture facilitates an adoption, it not only opens up space, it generates an adoption fee that can range anywhere from $50 to over $500. In other words, we multiply your money without a magic wand, fairy dust or Wall Street. And we save a life in the process.
