To Whom It May Concern:
The Aurora Animal Shelter partners with Nanette Martin and Shelter Me Photography for professional photographs of animals under our care. As you can see from this website, Nanette’s photos are a step high above the rest! She has a profound love for animals and the talent to capture the essence of the one in front of her lens. If you are looking for a particular pet on the internet and you come across one of her pictures, you WILL come and visit that pet to decide if it is right for you. Nanette’s photos are irresistible!
The animals photographed by her in our shelter readily get adopted. Of the last two groups photographed by Nanette, 100% of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats found new homes! When one of her photos was printed in the Aurora Sentinel newspaper for the shelter’s featured Pet of the Week, we received a record number of phone calls inquiring about the dog.
The Aurora Animal Shelter is happy to offer our highest recommendation to Nanette and Shelter Me Photography.
Sincerely,
Pamela Alford

Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO)
December 20, 2009
Nanette,
I wanted to take the time to personally thank you and your group. The exposure from your pictures has been amazing. Since you posted pictures of our dogs we have had a record breaking 15 adoptions. Although you did not photograph all 15 dogs, your images of the other dogs were what drew the adopting families to our facility. Two of the dogs were long time residents; Mama Bear, who was a hard core feral Katrina survivor that we have had for four years, and Helen, a deaf cattle dog who had been with us for over two years.
These are the two best photos I could find but because of your site people came in. The brown one is Mama Bear and the other one is Helen. It took us over two years to get Mama to walk on a leash; she would roll like a gator and chew through the leashes. Helen was a stray and adopted this weekend by a couple from Texas who heard about us through your site.
I am not someone who cries easily or often, but when Mama Bear and Helen left our facility for their new homes I could not hold back the tears. I have been with ARNO since early 2006 and have never seen this kind of response before. Keep up the great work, you truly make a difference in saving lives.
